Oman Arab Bank, an allied bank of the Arab Bank in Jordan, was established in 1984 after it acquired the branches of the Arab Bank in the Sultanate, and the bank began expanding in 1992 after the acquisition of the Omani European Bank. The bank provides customers with various commercial banking services. 2020 Alizz Islamic Bank was acquired, with the two banks remaining administratively separate. The bank has a wide network of branches, which exceed 54 branches of the Commercial Bank, and 17 branches of Islamic banking.
