About the job Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in African cuisine, particularly seafood preparation and grilling techniques. You will be responsible for:

* Preparing delicious and authentic Zanzibari-style grilled fish dishes.

* Creating flavorful marinades and sauces.

* Ensuring food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are met.

* Managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies.

* Training and supervising kitchen staff.

* Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant setting, with a strong focus on African cuisine.

* Excellent culinary skills, particularly in grilling and seafood preparation.

* In-depth knowledge of spices, herbs, and local ingredients.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

* Muslim candidates are strongly preferred.
