Overview:

Smart Modern Engineering (SME) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the engineering or construction industry, and a thorough understanding of the Omani market. This role involves promoting and selling our comprehensive range of engineering solutions, building strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Omani market.

Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including construction companies, real estate developers, and contractors.

Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their needs.

Product Promotion:

Sales Targets and Reporting:

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.

Qualifications:

Education:

Diploma in a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the engineering, construction, or related industry.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.

Skills:

Strong understanding of the Omani market and local business culture.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Personal Attributes:

Self-motivated and results-oriented.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to travel within Oman as required.

Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
