Stillen - performance lightweight pulley crunk New
NewDescription
Reduced Rotational Inertia: The main advantage is not the overall weight savings of the car, but the removal of rotational mass directly attached to the engine's crankshaft. Less energy is spent spinning up a heavy pulley, allowing more horsepower and torque to reach the drive wheels.
2. Sharper Throttle Response: Because the engine encounters less rotational resistance, it revs up and down faster, noticeably improving engine responsiveness during acceleration and gear shifts.
3. Freed-Up Horsepower: Typically yields a net gain of 5 to 11 horsepower at the wheels (depending on engine displacement, e.g., Nissan/Infiniti VQ engine platforms where STILLEN pulleys are most commonly installed).
4. Underdrive Options: Some STILLEN models feature a slightly smaller diameter than stock (underdrive), which slows down accessory drive speeds marginally to reduce parasitic drag on the engine even further without compromising alternator output or cooling efficiency.
