Job Title:

Poultry Layer Farm Project Manager

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the layer farm to ensure high productivity and quality.

Monitor the health and welfare of the poultry and coordinate with veterinarians for vaccination and disease prevention programs.

Manage and supervise staff, including supervisors, technicians, and workers.

Analyze production data and make informed decisions to improve performance.

Maintain inventory control of feed, medications, vaccines, and packaging materials.

Control costs and expenses to ensure efficient and economical operations.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in Oman.

Coordinate with distributors and suppliers to ensure smooth product sales and distribution.

Prepare regular reports on production, costs, and sales for senior management.

Supervise maintenance activities to ensure the efficiency of equipment and farm infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s or Diploma in Animal Production, Poultry Science, or Agricultural Business Management.

Minimum 5 years of experience in managing layer poultry farm operations.

Experience in handling automated poultry farm systems and smart farm management.

Strong cost management and budgeting skills, with the ability to analyze operational data.

Ability to lead teams and coordinate with suppliers and distributors.

Strong marketing and negotiation skills to ensure profitable product sales.

Good knowledge of veterinary and health regulations related to egg production in Oman.

Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked in Oman as a Layer Farm Production Manager in a local poultry company.

Arabic language proficiency is a plus but not required. Writing in Arabic is not necessary.
