Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, site knowledge, inspection and testing, along with a solid understanding of tender preparation and submission. Your expertise in local rates and budget management will be essential to our project’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage project engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.

- Prepare, submit, and manage tenders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Conduct regular site inspections and testing to monitor progress and quality of work.

- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

- Administer local rates and assist in budget management to optimize project costs.

- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors, using strong English communication skills.

- Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.

- Develop and maintain project documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in (construction, civil engineering)

- Strong experience in quantity surveying and understanding of cost estimation.

- Knowledge of inspection and testing methodologies.

- Familiarity with tender processes and documentation preparation.

- Experience in budget management and local pricing strategies.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
