Internal Auditor
AMTUR Gold & Diamonds is looking for a qualified Internal Auditor to monitor financial transactions, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate reporting across all branches. The candidate will be responsible for daily audit checks, branch account reconciliation, inventory verification, and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Audit Responsibilities
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits for all branches
Verify cash, bank transactions, and POS transactions
Review daily sales reports and branch closing reports
Monitor separate branch accounts and transactions
Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions
Identify financial discrepancies and report to management
Inventory & Gold Audit
Conduct gold stock verification and reconciliation
Monitor gold purchase and sales records
Ensure proper documentation of bullion and jewelry transactions
Verify physical stock vs system stock
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Monitor AML and regulatory compliance requirements
Identify potential financial risks and fraud prevention
Prepare audit reports with recommendations
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily audit summary report
Prepare monthly audit report for management
Coordinate with branch managers for corrections
Support external auditors and compliance requirements
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification preferred (CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA)
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years audit experience
Experience in Retail / Jewelry / Gold Business preferred
Experience handling multi-branch operations
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing
Good knowledge of Excel & accounting software
Strong attention to detail
Excellent reporting and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and travel between branches
Salary & Benefits
Salary: Based on experience (500 OMR)
