A leading medical supplies company in Oman is seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in both medical supply chain management and product strategy to join the team.

Position: Medical Supply Chain & Product Strategy Manager

Location: Muscat, Oman

Job Overview:

This role involves managing the entire supply chain of medical products, ensuring efficient procurement and timely delivery, while simultaneously developing strategic plans to expand product offerings and meet the demands of the Omani healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the procurement and logistics of medical supplies, coordinating with local and international suppliers to maintain stock availability.

2. Oversee shipping, customs clearance, and delivery schedules, ensuring compliance with Omani regulations.

3. Develop cost-effective shipping strategies to optimize logistics and reduce expenses.

4. Analyze market needs and recommend new or alternative medical products that align with the requirements of healthcare providers in Oman.

5. Prepare comprehensive technical and financial proposals for tenders, aligning with government and private sector standards.

6. Monitor market trends and competitor products to maintain a competitive edge in the Omani medical supplies sector.

7. Develop strategic plans to expand the range of medical products supplied by the company.

8. Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to support promotional activities and product launches.

9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and healthcare clients to ensure consistent supply and quality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in medical supply chain management and product strategy in the Omani market.

• In-depth knowledge of medical products, tender processes, and regulatory requirements in Oman.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Experience in shipping logistics, customs clearance, and inventory management.

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
